Paradisbadet
is one of the best water adventure pools in northern Europe, with a tropical climate, water at 32 degrees C, green plants, jacuzzis, rapids, pools, a relaxation area, sauna and an outdoor pool connected to the indoor section. Örnsköldsvik has a bustling commercial centre. Here, you´ll find small, pleasant shops side by side with large department stores and well-stocked shops offering specialist goods for sale. A shopping mall completes this picture of Örnsköldsvik as the place to meet all your shopping needs.

Varvsberget
If you visit Varvsberget you´ll have to make do with “overlooking" your surroundings. The view from the restaurant is enchanting to say the least, taking in the centre of town, the harbour area and the coast. This is where the High Coast path starts, and you´ll find the Hörnsjö nature reserve here too.

MoDo Ice Hockey & Fjällräven Center
TheFjällräven Center, one of the finest indoor arenas in Sweden, with space för 7,600 people, plays host to one of the top teams in Swedish ice hockey´s Elite League: MODO Hockey. But it also hosts other major events in sports and music. MODO Hockey has produces many of the world ice hockey stars who have given Örnsköldsvik a well-established reputation far beyond Sweden, not least in the North American professional leagues. “Foppagolf"
If you drive along the E4 motorway to just south of the town, you´ll see that an 18-hole golf course is being built at the moment. Peter Forsberg is one of the owners. Veckefjärdens Golf Course is gradually turning into a welcome new feature for the growing band of golfing enthusiasts who are looking forward to being part of the new golfing era in Sweden. Örnsköldsviks Museum and Art Gallery
Displays contemporary art and exhibitions of artists with local connections. Other exhibitions focus on the history of design, national history, prehistory and cultural history.
